On October 17th, Tianjin Port celebrated its 73rd anniversary of reopening. To showcase the latest achievements of the integrated development of port, industry and city, and enhance citizens' understanding and knowledge of port development, the group company held the 2025 Enterprise Open Day event from October 17th to 19th, inviting a thousand citizens to visit the port area and experience the modern appearance of Tianjin Port, an international metropolis, up close.
Since its launch, the event has received extensive attention and an enthusiastic response from the citizens. There has been a high number of registrations and a warm response. This Open Day has arranged three visiting routes, covering multiple fields such as port production, ecological landscapes and public services.
At the world's first "smart zero-carbon" terminal, giant container ships, "unmanned" quay cranes and yard cranes, rotating wind turbines, and artificial intelligence transport robots (ART) allow citizens to experience up close the new picture of intelligent port operations and green development brought about by technological innovation.
At the roll-on/Roll-off terminal of Tianjin Port, which opened for the first time this year, citizens witnessed tens of thousands of brand-new domestic vehicles waiting for export with their own eyes. They felt the hub guarantee capacity of Tianjin Port as an important international trade port to serve the "Belt and Road Initiative". At the same time, it vividly presented the vitality of China's foreign trade and the confident posture of a manufacturing power "going global" with the most vivid real scenes.
At Dongjiang Bay Beach Scenic Area, citizens can enjoy the city's "Golden coast", experiencing the "pleasure" brought by the sunny beach, water-based leisure and local specialties. After a busy day at work, they can also enjoy the leisure and healing brought by nature.
